Newegg is offering the ABS Stratos II Ruby pre-built gaming PC for $2,549.99, a $450 reduction from its list price. The system pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card and 32GB of DDR5 memory.
ABS is Newegg's own brand, which explains why its systems are widely listed on the retailer's site. According to Tom's Hardware, the Stratos II Ruby is also the cheapest RTX 5070 Ti gaming PC currently available on Newegg, and the outlet expects the offer to sell out quickly.
The processor is an eight-core chip that Tom's Hardware still counts among the best CPUs for gaming. It uses AMD's 3D V-Cache technology, which raises the available L3 cache to 96MB. A larger cache means the processor has to reach for slower system memory less often, which lowers latency and helps keep frame rates steadier. The chip no longer sits at the very top of the outlet's CPU benchmarks, but it is described as very close, and no Intel processor is said to match an X3D part for gaming performance.
On the graphics side, the RTX 5070 Ti is a current-generation Nvidia Blackwell card with 8,960 CUDA cores and 16GB of GDDR7 video memory. It is positioned as a mid- to high-tier option suited to 1440p and 4K play, and it supports Nvidia's latest features, including DLSS with multi-frame generation.
In practice, the review outlet says, the card can handle 4K gaming with ray tracing in current titles, using multi-frame generation where needed. Players should expect to use top graphics presets and may have to adjust settings in the most demanding games at 4K. The 16GB of video memory leaves more headroom than the 8GB found on the lower-end RTX 5060 and RTX 5050.
The rest of the specification follows the same pattern. Memory consists of two 16GB G.Skill Ripjaws M5 Neo RGB modules running at 6,000 MT/s. Storage is a 2TB Team Group NV5000 M.2 SSD with Gen 4 speeds, which the outlet says leaves room for several large game installations.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 and Ethernet. The processor is cooled by a Bitspower 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler.
Tom's Hardware, in a report dated 2026-10-23, called the price a strong one for the current market, citing both the $450 discount and the combination of the 9800X3D and RTX 5070 Ti.
