Apple TV has laid out its November schedule, with a mix of a returning comedy, a heist drama with prominent leads, a new film from the director of its Oscar-winning "CODA," and several family and documentary offerings.

The month opens on November 4 with the second season of "Stick," a sports comedy created by Jason Keller. Owen Wilson stars and serves as executive producer, playing Pryce Cahill, a former pro golfer whose career was cut short 20 years ago. Working at an Indiana sporting goods store after the collapse of his marriage, Pryce stakes his future on Santi, a troubled 17-year-old golf prodigy played by Peter Dager.

On November 6, the docuseries "Awkwafina: The Unlikely Cook" arrives. It follows actor and comedian Nora Lum, known as Awkwafina, who comes from a family of restaurateurs but cannot cook. She goes on a culinary road trip to learn the craft and try to revive her family's Chinese restaurant.

November 13 is the busiest date of the month. "12 12 12" is a heist drama in which each episode moves across three timelines: the 12 months of planning, the 12 hours of the heist and the 12 days afterward. Anthony Mackie plays a disgraced FBI agent and Jamie Dornan an American career criminal, locked in a cat-and-mouse game across Europe. The story centers on a raid on a bank vault deep beneath the streets of Zurich.

The same day brings the drama film "Being Heumann," based on true events. Set in 1977, it follows a young disabled woman, Judy Heumann (played by Ruth Madeley), and a coalition of outsiders whose protest grows into the longest occupation of a federal building in American history. Mark Ruffalo plays the bureaucrat standing in their way. The film is directed by Academy Award winner Siân Heder, who made "CODA."

Also on November 13, the family special "Snoopy Presents: 12 Days of Snoopy" debuts. The Peanuts kids are on their best behavior, but Snoopy has ended up on Santa's naughty list. With 12 days until Christmas, he tries to prove he is not a bad beagle and learns the season is about more than gifts.

The month closes on November 25 with the action-drama "Way of the Warrior Kid." Jude Hill plays Marc, a middle schooler who is bullied and struggling. His uncle Jake, a decorated Navy SEAL played by Chris Pratt, arrives to recover from an injury and develops a program called "Operation Warrior Kid" to show him what real courage means. Linda Cardellini plays Marc's mother. The film is based on the bestselling novel by former Navy SEAL Jocko Willink and is directed by McG from a screenplay by Will Staples.

Several current shows will also release new episodes. "Brothers," starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson, and the British comedy "Small Prophets" both continue through November 4. The docuseries "Knife Edge: Chasing Michelin Stars" runs through November 6, the German dark comedy "Where's Wanda?" through December 9, and the Liev Schreiber thriller "Nocturne" through December 25.

Apple TV costs $14.99 per month, and it can be had at a discount through the Apple One bundle.
